Full scope of production

For a leading manufacturer of LED design lights, we produce 4,000 LED workplace lights every year. The light of the year in 2013 is available in 3 different versions and 4 different color variants. In this project, ABW Metalltechnik provides the following services:

• Support for the customer’s design department for production-ready design in the production creation process
• Assumption of procurement and requirements planning responsibilities for assembly components (aluminum profiles, plates, packaging, etc.) in accordance with the customer’s existing supply chain
• Production of light cables
• Processing of aluminum profiles through machining process
• Highest quality wet coating of all light components
• Assembly and function testing of the complete LED light
• Quality check and packaging
• Assumption of responsibility for quality by ABW: The LED light is no longer tested at the customer’s location but sent directly to the end customer
• As part of the CCC certification of the light, in 2013 we successfully completed factory inspection by the China Certification & Inspection Group
